Our online store offers merchandise and other goods in support of our efforts to restore, develop, and operate the historic Alderton General Store.

Purchases and Fundraising

Purchases made through this website are purchases of goods or services only.

Your purchase does not represent an investment in, ownership interest in, equity interest in, partnership with, or other financial interest in Alderton General, Inc. or the Alderton General Store.

Purchases directly support our fundraising efforts and help fund the restoration, development, and operation of the Alderton General Store project. Unless expressly identified as a charitable donation, purchases are not charitable contributions and should not be considered tax-deductible donations.

We make no representation or guarantee regarding the completion date, opening date, future operation, profitability, or success of the Alderton General Store project.

Product Information

We make every effort to display and describe our products accurately. However, colors, dimensions, materials, finishes, and other product characteristics may vary slightly from photographs or descriptions.

Many Alderton General products may be produced in limited quantities or made specifically for our fundraising efforts. Product availability is not guaranteed, and we reserve the right to discontinue products or limit quantities at any time.

Personalized and Engraved Products

Personalized, customized, and engraved items are created according to the information submitted by the customer. Customers are responsible for reviewing names, dates, spelling, punctuation, and other personalization before submitting an order.

We reserve the right to reject any personalization that we determine, in our reasonable discretion, to contain profanity, hate speech, discriminatory language, threats, unlawful content, inappropriate material, or content inconsistent with the character and values of Alderton General.

Unless otherwise stated, personalized and custom products are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged except in the event of a manufacturing error or defect.

Engraved Commemorative Bricks

Personalized engraved bricks purchased through Alderton General are intended for installation at or around the Alderton General Store property. These bricks will not be shipped to the purchaser.

The purchase of a brick does not convey ownership of any portion of the Alderton General Store property or create any permanent property, naming, memorial, or placement right. While we intend to incorporate purchased bricks into walkways, landscaping, or other areas of the property, final placement and installation will be determined by Alderton General.

We reserve the right to relocate, replace, repair, or remove bricks when reasonably necessary due to construction, maintenance, damage, property improvements, safety concerns, or other operational needs.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices may change without notice.

Applicable sales tax and shipping charges will be calculated and displayed during checkout when applicable.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order due to pricing errors, suspected fraud, payment issues, product availability, or other reasonable circumstances. If payment has already been collected for an order we cancel, the applicable amount will be refunded.

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping estimates are provided as estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Alderton General is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, supply-chain disruptions, incorrect addresses provided by customers, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order.

Returns and Refunds

Our current Return and Refund Policy, if provided separately on this website, is incorporated into these Terms.

Unless otherwise specified, customized, personalized, engraved, and final-sale products are not eligible for return or exchange except when they arrive damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.

Unless otherwise indicated, the Alderton General name, logos, artwork, photography, written content, product designs, graphics, and other original materials appearing on this website are owned by or licensed to Alderton General, Inc.
